Volunteer Women's Group Support

Overview
Our mission is to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Volunteers are essential to Change Grow Live, bringing valuable skills, lived experience, and passion that strengthen our teams, improve outcomes, help us break down barriers and supports meaningful change. We are committed to valuing, supporting, and developing our volunteers.
As a Women’s Group Support Volunteer, you will work alongside our Recovery Coordinators to cofacilitate our Women’s Group on Friday mornings. You’ll welcome the attendees into a safe space, support and encourage engagement throughout the duration of the group. You’ll help with setting up the group room, clearing down and being a positive role model to those you support.
It is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for the successful applicant to be female.

Supporting individuals to achieve their goals can be rewarding and you can make a real difference to somebody’s life. It can take time for the people we support to engage and trust in us, so consistency, patience and resilience is key to this role.
This is an ideal role for a friendly, enthusiastic and compassionate individual with lived experience, who is patient, and non-judgemental. You will receive full training to undertake this role and ongoing support to further develop your skills.
