Job Description
We’re looking for an admin Butchery to join the team and focus on growing our own Butchery “tMart” to manage the full operations of Butchery Location Process by implementing our commercial & demand requirements.
Manage and maintain daily administrative activities for the butchery section within the DC Pick-pack process: Pick and Pack orders as per the process in a precise and a timely manner.
Ensure accurate system entries for all butchery-related inventory (receiving, transfers, wastage, and adjustments).
Monitor stock levels of meat and poultry products and coordinate replenishment with the DC Supervisor.
Track and report expiry, shelf-life, and product rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Maintain proper documentation for all butchery operations, including temperature logs, cleaning records, and audit checklists.
Coordinate with the operations team to align butchery production with demand planning and sales requirements.
Ensure all hygiene, food safety, and municipality regulations are strictly followed in the butchery area.
Support waste control initiatives by tracking shrinkage, damages, and expired products.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on butchery performance, stock movement, and variances.
Assist in audits and inspections by ensuring all records and processes are up to date and compliant.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (store operations, supply chain, and quality) to ensure smooth workflow.
Perform any additional administrative or operational tasks assigned by the DC Supervisor
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, DC operations, or food handling (butchery experience is a plus).
Basic knowledge of inventory systems and stock control processes.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
