Job Description
We’re looking for a Contracts Excellence Manager to shape and elevate our global contract management approach driving improved financial performance, smarter commercial decisions, and best-in-class service offerings.
This is a high impact, strategic role where you’ll partner across regions and functions to optimise a complex portfolio of service contracts, influence pricing and renewals, and enable the business to win and deliver profitable agreements globally.
You’ll combine commercial insight, analytical rigour, and stakeholder leadership to drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable business value.
The role will be based from our site in Hemel Hempstead, however, we do operate a hybrid working model.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain a clear view of our global service contract portfolio, tracking performance against business cases
- Lead initiatives to evolve and strengthen our contract management capabilities
- Identify and drive opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, and optimise pricing & renewals
- Monitor contract risk, performance, and compliance—ensuring effective governance is in place
- Develop and implement tools, templates, policies, and processes to standardise best practice
- Support and mentor regional contract specialists, sharing knowledge and building capability
- Lead contract performance reporting, business planning, and forecasting
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and operational teams to support key commercial initiatives
- Contribute to the design of new service offerings and service level agreements
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing and optimising high value (£m+) service contracts
- Track record of delivering revenue growth, margin improvement, and commercial performance
- Experience developing commercial or contract management frameworks, tools or processes
- Comfortable influencing and leading across a matrix organisation
- Background in engineered products, services, or B2B/B2G environments
- Experience working across international markets
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Expertise in pricing, negotiation, and contract development
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Understanding of contract law fundamentals
- Project/programme management and change management capability
- Risk identification and mitigation experience
Desirable
- Knowledge of SAP
- Formal contract law qualification
- Additional language skills, German or French.
