About The Company
Focus on the positive. Be humble. Never be complacent. Embrace nerdy, goofy fun. Those are some simple ideas, but they're the core values that keep us moving at FUN.com! In 1992, we started as a small costume shop in a garage. Since then, we've grown into one of the largest online retailers in the world, offering products that give our customers a FUN-of-a-Kind experience. A bit corny? Maybe, but that's just a part of our culture! We don’t just love pop culture and nostalgia. We live it. We work closely with the world’s top brands, like Disney, Fox, Universal, and Warner Bros to design unique apparel, collectibles, and costumes for the fans who love them. We’re the ones who are first in line for the latest Marvel movie and we’ll definitely talk your ear off about Ghostbusters and Care Bears if you’ll let us! Our team values the genuine curiosity needed to explore new ideas, whether it’s cooking up new product ideas or finding creative ways to connect with our customers. That’s also why we try to provide a flexible environment that lets all our team members grow to their potential, since personal growth and team growth go hand in hand! About the Role

Description

Do you love the smell of the server room in the morning? Is reformatting a hard drive child’s play for you? Do you like to tinker with your vintage IBM PC5150 in your spare time? Did you always like Q just a bit more than James Bond? Then you might be ready to join our Information Technology team! We’re looking for a new Associate Technical Support Specialist to share their passion for computers with our IT department!

Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting various tickets, solving basic computer issues for co-workers, and preparing new user accounts and hardware. Strong organizational skills are a must, since our Associate Technical Support Specialist helps maintain and store the hardware that other teams need to succeed at their roles. Candidates will also need critical thinking and investigation skills to fix a wide array of basic issues and to troubleshoot helpdesk ticket items. Higher level support will be available to help candidates on more advanced issues, so it’s also a great opportunity to cultivate your own knowledge.

If you have a love of technology and a desire to put those skills to the test, then our IT department wants you on the team! And if you have some pics of your custom IBM PC5150, we’re interested.

Wage: $20/hr
