This position oversees critical supply chain functions at Craft Ohana, integral to the success of our widening distribution footprint. The individual in this role must have a strong knowledge of shipping logistics, warehousing, and managing distributor relationships throughout the Hawaiian Islands and continental US. The Distribution and Logistics Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a high quality, consistent supply chain for our customers.
THE EVERYDAY VIEW
- Understand order optimization; ensuring shipments are delivered on time, in full, and at ideal freight costs.
- Communicate changes, delays, and inconsistencies quickly and accurately to customers.
- Correctly identify potential supply chain issues, such as out-of-stocks, by analyzing forecast data and partaking in weekly CRM meetings.
- Effectively manage inventory dispersed across MBC facilities, distributor warehouses, and 3PL partners.
- Own and maintain ERP data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Continuously assess freight costs to find optimal rates.
- Create SOPs that drive safety, efficiency, and quality in our internal operations.
- Oversee warehouse Ops team, managing daily outflows and supporting the department as needed to execute an organized logistics system.
- Produce KPI’s relevant to logistics for display at internal meetings, including fulfilment rate, freight cost analytics, OTIF %, and Out of Stock data.
- Be a team player and able to interact with all levels within the organization.
- Adhere to and enforce all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- Other tasks as needed.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment reference, and background check.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and freight handling.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisor-level leadership experience.
- Preferred experience in the Beverage Alcohol or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Experience in a production brewery is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or experience in a related field.

Requirements

· Experience working within an ERP or OMS system.
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
· CPIM/CSCP or comparable supply chain certificate a plus
· 5+ years leading a team in a warehouse environment.
· 5+ years of experience in logistics
· Creative, problem-solving skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a love for meeting and interacting with people.
· Thorough attention to detail and desire to take initiative.
· 5+ years forklift experience (preferably training cert)
· Must adhere to the company’s policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
· Nights, evenings, and weekends required - if applicable (while we highly value work-life balance and this role will have a standard 1st shift, business needs, planning, and exceptions will dictate the exact schedule)
· Ability to approach all situations with a calm, solution-oriented demeanor and lead by example.
· Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for prolonged periods.
· Able to read and follow written instructions.
· Able to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift, and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 55 pounds using appropriate techniques and tools.
· Able to safely navigate the tasting room and snack bar areas, including crowded spaces.
· Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
· Able to move 165-pounds, using appropriate techniques and tools.
· Able to work in a factory/production environment that may be loud, slick, humid, cold, and hot.
· Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and occasionally slippery floors.
· Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards.
