We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Trainee position in the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module at Konecranes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build hands-on expertise in SAP SD while gaining deep exposure to business processes used across Konecranes. You will actively support daily operations by working on real-time tickets and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Acquire strong knowledge of the SAP SD module and other cross-functional modules as required
• Proactively pursue learning opportunities to enhance SAP and business process knowledge
• Work on real-time operational tickets as part of daily support activities
• Demonstrate flexibility to work in various shifts when customer support demands it
• Adhere strictly to company policies, values, and code of conduct
• Follow operational procedures in compliance with audit requirements
• Maintain awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune – but it goes without saying that the hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university.

Experience

• Minimum 0–1 Year of domain or SAP SD experience.

IT & SAP Skills

• Mandatory knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• Good understanding of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module
• Desirable exposure to business processes such as:
  • Pricing
  • Stock Transfer Orders (STO)
  • Consignment Sales
  • Third-Party Sales
• Awareness of ITIL concepts
• Knowledge of IDOC and EDI processes
• Working experience as an SAP End User is an advantage
• Willingness to work as a techno-functional consultant
• Understanding of LSMW and data migration concepts is desirable
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements is valued.

General Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, demonstrating both the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team dynamics as required.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities are crucial.
• Should be flexible to take up any challenge offered based on business need.
• Should be comfortable using basic MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
• Nice to have experience in interacting with the global team set-up.
