About the Role

Home Instead is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people including personal care. We have minimum visits of 1 hour, award-winning training, and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match Clients and Care assistants based on mutual interests and hobbies, to help build bonds of trust and help us provide personalised support. We take our clients out shopping or for drives or even just walks. 

Job Description

  • We are not looking for specific care experience – your personal values, though, are critical
  • Excellent support and training are given but being kind, caring and compassionate is essential.
  • Recruiting for part-time hrs, this role will include 2 evenings a week and every other weekend and be covering Ross on Wye/Ledbury 
  • Great rates of pay from £14.75 up to £16.00 per hour plus 12.7% holiday pay accrued on all hours

Qualifications

What we are looking for: 

  • We would like you to have your own reliable transportation to visit our clients and be willing to travel across our local areas
  • An excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable
  • Compassionate and kind individuals
  • People who always treat clients with dignity and respect
  • A good listener, be able to communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a polite and friendly manner
  • Wanted part-time work

We are especially looking for someone who is flexible and has access to reliable transport to cover calls in the evening when most of our clients need to get safely back into bed at night.
