Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our warehouse and production team. This role involves operating sit-down forklifts and warehouse equipment to move, organize, and track materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience and can quickly adapt to company procedures with minimal training.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and move materials 
• Transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas 
• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and documentation 
• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials and report discrepancies 
• Accurately log inventory movements and production data 
• Operate additional equipment such as, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment 
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and OSHA standards 
• Assist with general warehouse and production support tasks 
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift (required) 
• Familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments 
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment 
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic 

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
• Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
