About the Role:
The Master Level Clinician plays a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health services to diverse client populations across the United States. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health. The clinician collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure holistic care and continuity of services. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards to promote client safety and confidentiality. Ultimately, the Master Level Clinician contributes to improving client outcomes and advancing the mission of the organization through compassionate, skilled clinical practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent in the United States.
- Minimum of two years of post-master’s clinical experience providing direct mental health services.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in clinical practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Training or certification in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other specialized therapeutic approaches.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth service delivery.
- Bilingual proficiency or experience working with non-English speaking clients.
- Experience in community outreach, case management, or program development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices and client goals.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities tailored to client populations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share insights, and facilitate referrals to additional services as needed.
- Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to enhance skills and ensure quality care.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and community resources to support recovery and wellness.
