Custodian/Janitorial

Description

 We are seeking a dependable, hard-working individual to join our team. This is an evening position, typically 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM with some flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be able to work independently.

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care; removing trash; restocking supplies; and following cleaning and safety protocols. During facility closures, deep cleaning is required. Additional duties include reporting repair needs, ensuring all equipment is used and stored properly, and locking and unlocking doors as needed for security purposes.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cleaning practices, proper use of chemicals, and safety procedures 
• Basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens and handling of hazardous materials 
• Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and efficiently use supplies and equipment 
• Previous experience preferred but not required 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness 
• Ability to work independently 
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic 
• Must pass background checks, including: 
• Criminal background check 
• Adult maltreatment registry 
• Child maltreatment registry 
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing
