Senior UI/UX Designer - Delta Point

The Senior UI/UX Designer is a pivotal role tasked with defining and executing the user experience strategy for a Human Resource Information System (HRIS), built on the Microsoft Blazor framework. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex workflows into highly intuitive, accessible and efficient user interfaces. In addition to leading visual and functional design, this professional will bridge the gap between design and engineering by authoring and maintaining comprehensive system documentation. The successful candidate will ensure that both technical teams and end users are supported by clear, accurate and standardized reference materials, ultimately, driving system adoption and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Architect high-fidelity wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes to simplify complex workflows and reporting
- Develop and govern a comprehensive design system tailored for Blazor component libraries
- Author and update technical specifications, user guides, release notes and help documentation to ensure mission success and user adoption
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and usability testing to iterate on designs based on data driven feedback and user behavior
- Facilitate seamless hand-offs to .NET developers, providing clear assets, CSS requirements, and functional documentation
- Conduct design audits of the implemented Blazor front end to ensure visual and functional alignment with approved prototypes for database designs and application processes
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of dedicated experience in UI/UX design for complex web applications
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable design systems
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Blazor, Razor components and CSS/HTML to ensure design feasibility for developers
- Proven track record in technical writing, including creation of UI/UX style guides, developer hands on specs and comprehensive end user documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, graphical design or related field, will consider job related experience
- Candidates are required to attend Phone/Video/In-Person interviews and after selection candidate should go through all background checks on education and experience
- Candidate must be eligible for full time in person work at Wright Patt Air Force Base and US citizenship is required
