About the Role

Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations and inventory management, while leading staff to meet productivity, safety and cultural standards. Key responsibilities involve managing staff to balance productivity needs, optimizing warehouse space, ensuring accurate inventory records, monitoring equipment, and upholding safety, GMP and SQF protocols to ensure efficient logistics, accurate fulfillment or receipt of goods, and optimal communication with all stakeholders.  


 Job duties and responsibilities include:  

· Coordinate daily receiving, storage, and shipping activities.

· Train, schedule, and motivate warehouse employees to meet performance goals.

· Monitor and manage material movement and inventory levels to assure uninterrupted supply for stakeholders to achieve optimum results. 

· Check inventory receipts or shipment documents and advise any discrepancies to Quality, Production, Shipping or Procurement, in a timely manner.

· Conduct Cycle Counts and ensure accuracy in records. Coordinate cross functionally for the delivery or receipt of on time, quality product.

· Ensure the warehouse staff and facility adhere to OSHA and SQF regulations and company safety procedures.

· Ensure raw material or finished goods meet quality standards and that first-in/first-out warehouse procedures are followed for all stock.

· Utilize the ERP system for all inventory transactions and constantly strive to find ways to further incorporate routine procedures into the ERP system.

· Communicate effectively across departments, as well as both internal and external stakeholders, to meet business needs. 

· Develop SOP’s and training programs for team. 

· Responsible for evaluating, coaching, guiding, and identifying learning and growth opportunities for direct hourly team members.

· Troubleshoot issues and work with team members and leadership to optimize smooth operations.  

· Recognize, implement and serve as point of contact for all improvement projects within the department, using Lean 5S principles, leading projects and team from start to finish.

· Maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced, always changing work environment.

· Multi-task and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks according to work levels and resource availability to ensure smooth operations and reduce negative impacts for customers and team members. 

· Create an environment where teamwork, knowledge sharing and communication is encouraged and part of the culture. 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum of 1 year forklift operation experience required.
  • 2 years of Supervisory Experience required.
  • Experience with ERP systems required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, Sunday – Thursday, with ability to flex schedule to cover department needs.


Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour


Location: Arden, NC
