About the Role

 Since 1996, EMT has provided compassionate, safe, and timely transportation to passengers of all abilities. Our mission is simple: ensure every individual—regardless of disability, mobility challenges, or special needs—can reach their destination with dignity and care. We proudly serve organizations across the St. Louis, Missouri metro area, surrounding regions in Illinois, and Cumberland, Maryland. Our partners include:

  • Hospitals
  • Doctor’s offices
  • Community organizations

We also support individuals and families, offering transportation to appointments, daily activities, and anywhere else they need to go. 
 We are seeking a dependable Service Technician to join our automotive service team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who takes pride in providing quality preventative maintenance services.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and mechanical systems
  • Ability to change fluids, tires, and belts
  • Prior automotive or technician experience preferred (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

 

  • Perform oil changes and fluid services
  • Complete basic preventative maintenance on vehicles
  • Change tires and belts
  • Perform porter services as needed (moving and staging vehicles)
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in automotive repair preferred
  • Automotive repair training
  • Perform oil changes and fluid services
  • Complete basic preventative maintenance on vehicles
  • Change tires and belts
  • Perform porter services as needed (moving and staging vehicles)
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
