About the Role

Join a fast-growing HR tech business shaping the future of global mobility

We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused People Manager to join our growing team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a visible role in building a high-performing, people-first culture within an ambitious HR tech business.

You’ll work closely with our Chief People Officer while taking ownership of day-to-day People Operations across the business. From onboarding and employee support to payroll coordination, ER matters, HR systems, and process improvement — you’ll be at the heart of the employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone already operating at People Advisor level and ready to step into a broader management role, or an experienced People Manager who enjoys being hands-on in a scaling business. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with scope for extension or transition to a permanent role.

You’ll also gain valuable international exposure, supporting employees and operations across multiple regions including the UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Ireland, and the US.

If you enjoy building structure, improving processes, working autonomously, and being the trusted “go-to” person for all things HR — we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing day-to-day HR operations across the business
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries via the HR inbox
  • Supporting employees with policies, processes, benefits, and general people queries
  • Coordinating onboarding, inductions, and smooth offboarding experiences
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Owning and maintaining our HRIS, HiBob, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Producing HR reporting and monthly people metrics for leadership and Board review
  • Supporting managers with day-to-day people matters and documentation
  • Assisting with employee relations cases, disciplinary processes, and meeting coordination
  • Coordinating monthly payroll in partnership with Finance across multiple entities
  • Managing benefits administration including enrolments and changes
  • Supporting governance and compliance activities across the People function
  • Managing purchase orders and approvals through ApprovalMax

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a People/HR role within a fast-paced startup, scaleup, or growing business
  • Experience working within a small or lean People team
  • Strong hands-on experience using HiBob (essential)
  • Solid understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and core people processes
  • Experience supporting payroll processes alongside Finance
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting in a changing environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work independently, take ownership, and be self-sufficient
  • Interest in or exposure to international HR operations / multi-country environments

What will make you successful in this role

  • You take initiative and enjoy being hands-on
  • You bring calm, structure, and organisation to a growing environment
  • You build strong relationships and earn trust quickly
  • You are practical, solutions-focused, and adaptable
  • You enjoy ownership and being the person people rely on
  • You love improving processes while keeping the employee experience front and centre

Why join us?

  • Hybrid working within a Central London office (2–3 days per week)
  • Opportunity to make a real impact in a growing HR tech business
  • Exposure to international people operations across multiple regions
  • A collaborative, supportive environment where ideas and initiative are valued
  • The chance to grow your career alongside an ambitious global business
