R&D Engineer (Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)

As R&D Engineer

You will work within an enthusiastic team of a leading and innovative shipping company with the scope to participate to several maritime R&D projects.

As a part of your role, you will:

• participate in new buildings plan approval process
• be involved in the reporting process within the scope of various initiatives
• review of class records for pre purchase surveys

• communicate with makers, classification societies and NB shipyards in the context of R&D projects/NB projects

The ideal candidate should have

• Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous solid experience in a similar role within a shipping company, marine technical research consultants, classes
• Experience with technical projects
• Availability for travelling and visiting vessels
• Fluency in English language
