Medical Transport Driver (Pathology Services)

Description
This is not a typical driving job.
If you take pride in being early, staying organized, and handling responsibility without being asked, this role will feel like a natural fit.
If you prefer minimal accountability, inconsistent schedules, or “just driving,” this is not the right role.
What This Role Actually Is
You are responsible for transporting decedents for autopsy services and ensuring every case moves forward safely, on time, and without issues.
This role sits at the center of operations. When you do your job well:
- Cases stay on schedule
- Funeral homes trust us
- The internal team can operate smoothly
You will:
- Complete scheduled pickups and drop-offs across the region
- Handle case transport with professionalism and care
- Communicate real-time updates to the team
- Take full ownership of company vehicles (maintenance, cleanliness, issues)
- Represent EPIARX in the field
You are not just driving—you are executing a critical part of the operation.
What You’ll Be Measured On
- On-time performance — transports completed as scheduled
- Safety — zero preventable driving or handling incidents
- Vehicle ownership — clean, maintained, and issues handled proactively
- Communication — clear, timely updates (Slack + direct coordination)
- Professionalism in the field — consistent, respectful interactions
