We are looking for a Senior Veterinarian to join our newly renovated clinic in Helensvale Square, bringing not only strong clinical capability, but the confidence and generosity to mentor junior vets and help lift the team around you.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being trusted, enjoys sharing knowledge, and wants to keep doing meaningful clinical work while helping shape the next generation of veterinarians.

Why Helensvale Square?

Our clinic is large, modern and well equipped, with the space and support to do good work well. We have:

  • Four consult rooms
  • Digital x-ray
  • A separate dentistry area
  • Digital dental x-ray
  • Onsite grooming
  • A supportive nursing team
  • A dedicated Practice Manager
  • A Vet Director with Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice

You will be joining a team of three vets, supported by six nurses and a leadership team that values collaboration, thoughtful medicine and a steady, positive clinic culture.

The role

As our Senior Veterinarian, you will help lead by example, clinically and culturally. You will be someone our junior vets can turn to, someone who enjoys building confidence in others, and someone who believes that great veterinary care starts with a team that feels supported.

Each day, you will be involved in:

  • Delivering personalised, professional care to pets and their people
  • Managing regular consults, routine surgery and varied GP cases
  • Supporting evidence-based diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up care
  • Coaching and mentoring junior veterinarians in a practical, encouraging way
  • Helping create a calm, kind and capable team environment
  • Building strong client relationships through education, empathy and trust

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys mentoring and developing junior vets
  • Communicates clearly and kindly with clients and teammates
  • Takes pride in high standards of patient care
  • Is confident across consults, medicine and routine surgery
  • Values collaboration with nurses, vets and support teams
  • Wants flexibility without stepping away from meaningful clinical impact

This is a great opportunity for a senior vet who wants to be influential without losing the joy of everyday practice.

This is a busy, energetic clinic in a popular northern Gold Coast location. You will be part of a team that cares deeply, moves with purpose, and works together to give pets the best chance at long, happy and healthy lives.
