About the Role

Department/Unit: Department of Paediatrics 
Closing Date: May 15, 2026

The appointee(s) will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital, the teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Department of Paediatrics has over 120 staff members, including academics, research personnel and colleagues employed by the Hospital Authority. The Department provides tertiary service to the Eastern New Territories region and carries out top-notch research in Allergy, Sleep Medicine, Neonatology, Haematology and Oncology, Nephrology, and Respiratory Infections.

Applicants should have (i) a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.

Priority will be given to applicants with (i) experience in undergraduate medical education, and (ii) a track record of scientific publications.

Duties include (a) undertaking medical student teaching (bedside, tutorials, simulation) at both the Prince of Wales and Hong Kong Children’s Hospital, (b) undertaking supervised research, and (c) engaging in clinical services as directed by the Department Chairperson.

The appointment will initially be on contract basis for up to 3 years, renewable upon satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
