The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring equipment reliability in a manufacturing environment. This role performs advanced troubleshooting, supports preventive maintenance programs, and provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Troubleshooting hydraulic systems
- Troubleshooting vacuum systems and compressors
- Routine lubrication of equipment
- Ordering maintenance supplies/ parts
- Following preventative maintenance program for equipment & facility
- Assisting with equipment installations
- Operation of forklift and manlift
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- May perform fabrication tasks as required
- Other duties as assigned
LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance to maintenance team members
- Assist in prioritizing and coordinating maintenance tasks
- Support troubleshooting of complex equipment issues
- Help ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed
- Communicate maintenance issues and equipment status to management
- Assist with training and onboarding of new maintenance technicians
- Promote and reinforce safe work practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical maintenance experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Electrical maintenance experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or other status as defined by U.S. regulations).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Solid knowledge of OSHA workplace safety standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
- Experience is working high volume fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification is preferred (available on-site).
- Solid understanding of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
- Experience working with hydraulic presses
- Experience working with autoclaves and hydroclaves.
- Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds
