About the Role

Description

We are a busy scratch kitchen in the Finger Lakes looking for a solid line cook who can handle a real service and be part of a tight team. This is not a slow paced kitchen. We do consistent volume every night and rely on each other to stay organized, communicate, and get through service clean. If you take pride in your station and like working with people who care about doing things right, you will do well here.


What the job is like

Dinner service runs 5pm to 9pm and stays busy

Shifts start around 1-2pm, but we can be flexible.
You will work both prep and line across multiple stations
Open kitchen so cleanliness and professionalism matter
Small team that depends on each other every night


What you will do

Run a station during service with consistency and awareness
Prep vegetables, proteins, sauces, and mise en place
Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
Communicate clearly with the team during service
Jump in where needed to keep service moving


What we are looking for

At least 2 years of kitchen experience preferred
You show up on time and handle your responsibilities

Cooks who take pride in their work
People who stay calm and focused during a push
Cooks who do not need to be micromanaged
People who respect their coworkers and communicate clearly

Pay and benefits

$21 to $26 per hour based on experience
