About the Role

LAITEK Medical Software is the Romanian development arm of LAITEK, Inc. -- an industry-leading supplier of medical data migration and management solutions. Our products are proudly developed entirely in-house, allowing us to quickly adapt to the increasingly diverse and demanding environments our customers operate within. With hospitals across the US, EU, Middle East, and Asia utilizing our software, LAITEK is expanding its employee base in response to increasing demand for its signature services and software. Over 20 years of DICOM and HL7 Standards lead our team to produce cutting-edge technologies that help healthcare providers manage their medical data smarter and faster. 


We are seeking a motivated Integration Specialist to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, responsible for the successful setup, control, and monitoring of migration projects. This role involves managing migration processes to ensure seamless and accurate implementation at customer facilities. The ideal candidate brings a solid technical foundation in computers, software, and databases, along with strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, maintain focus, and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment. 


  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of customer data and system migration projects under the guidance of Advanced or Senior Integration Specialists
  • Configure standard migration environments and processes, including but not limited to users, namespaces, hosts, AE titles, filters, streams, schedulers, data transformations and retention policies 
  • Escalate non-standard customer requirements to Advanced or Senior team members
  • Monitor active migrations to ensure expected performance, escalating performance, connectivity, or integrity concerns as appropriate
  • Troubleshoot and resolve standard migration issues, including service restarts, storage checks, blocked studies, and routine job failures
  • Escalate complex technical issues, interface failures (e.g., HL7), or non-standard configurations to Advanced or Senior team members
  • Prepare and maintain migration documentation and standard reports, including Daily Migration Reports and Go-Live Monitoring Reports
  • Maintain accurate project records, including tickets, and correspondence
  • Support migration testing and validation activities according to defined procedures
  • Respond to internal and customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify potential migration process issues and communicate findings to senior or advanced team members
  • Adhere to established procedures, work instructions, and quality management system (QMS) requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as directed
  • Perform other duties as required to support business and customer needs



Requirements

  

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Healthcare or database-related education preferred

Experience:

  • Experience supporting technical integration or medical data migration projects
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases (used recently)
  • Experience providing customer-facing support in a technical environment
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks within established project plans
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and medical data workflows (PACS/RIS, DICOM preferred; HL7 exposure beneficial)
