About the Role

The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer, for a role in our Brisbane office. You will be an integral member of our team delivering quality services on projects from around Australia.

You will be involved in structural design of building projects focused in the commercial, retail, health, industrial, high rise and education sectors.

Specifically:

  • All aspects of design in structural engineering with a focus on Property and Building projects.
  • Preparation of design sketches and details for drafting by technical staff and oversee the design development and documentation.
  • Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders including clients, local government, and authorities.
  • Meet our client expectations of projects being delivered on time and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Attend site for inspections.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary level qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3years experience.
  • Strong communication and liaison abilities to engage with clients and other engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable Australian Standards, Local Government Authority Standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Exposure to developing structural design across a range of project cycles utilising relevant standards and best practice methodologies.
