About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at General Mills Hong Kong Limited. As Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic financial management of our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business operations. This is a full-time position based in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Lead the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and planning activities.

    • Monitor and analyze monthly financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year and provide insightful commentary to management and clusters

    • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management.

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.

    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide insights to management to drive business decisions.

    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.

  • Business Partnering:

    • Enables robust decision making by offering objective perspective to market leaders

    • Provide financial support and analysis for strategic initiatives, new product launches, and other business projects.

    • Challenge assumptions and provide constructive feedback to improve business performance

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes.

    • Streamline data collection and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field with Professional certification (CPA)

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related analytical role in FMCG.

  • Proven experience in leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and comprehensive variance analysis processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable business insights.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g. SAP BPC and Anaplan) and/or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) will be a plus.
