FLC Accounting Supervisor

Position Summary:
The FLC Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Farm Labor Contractor (FLC) accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in labor cost tracking, payroll funding, and documentation processes. This role provides direct supervision to the FLC Accounting team and serves as the primary liaison between Accounting, Compliance, HR, and Production. This position plays a critical role in supporting organizational goals while modeling the company’s values of Excellence, Accountability, Transparency, and Stewardship (EATS).
Supervisory Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and support FLC Accounting Clerks and related staff.
- Assign and review daily workload to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Act as escalation point for issues related to FLC payroll, documentation, and reporting.
Accounting & Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the review and processing of FLC timesheets.
- Ensure accurate capture and allocation of labor hours across all company verticals.
- Validate labor cost allocations in accounting systems (e.g., Famous, Open Invoice).
- Review and approve payroll funding requests.
- Ensure all required contracts, arbitration agreements, and documentation are collected and compliant prior to processing.
- Monitor and enforce “No Day of Hire” policies and onboarding compliance.
- Coordinate with Compliance team to ensure all FLCs meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processes, and labor compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting systems.

Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- High School diploma
- AA degree in Accounting is preferred but not required
- 1-3 years of experience in data entry or equivalent training
