Job Description
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Completing assigned work independently based on received general guidance and direction on new projects, tasks and priorities
- Analyzing issues and identifying solutions using existing techniques, and proposing approaches for novel issues
- Managing the development of landscape strategies and designs with the wider team ad with the support of the junior stuff
- Providing guidance to junior team members, assessing allocated tasks, budgets and programme delivery with the support of the management team
- Ensuring high-quality, efficient project outcomes
- Preparing technical reports and drawings
- Working collaboratively with others, including external consultants, and clients
- Engaging with our in-house specialists, including architecture, ecology, civil engineering, civil utilities with the aim of delivering high quality and fully coordinated site plans and masterplans
- Lead all phases of the delivery of landscape architecture documentation including: reports, specifications and drawings
- Cooperating with the Quantity Surveyors and providing accurate inputs into the costs schedules
Qualifications
Key skills:
- Excellent design and communication skills i.e. being capable of transmitting passion for Landscape Architecture to clients, other professions and the broader team
- In-depth knowledge and experience in managing landscape architecture projects, collaborating with the wider team and clients
- Ability to delegate tasks to junior staff and overseeing their progress
- Strong planting knowledge
- Strong interest in the natural environment
- Good understanding of the planning system and project phases
- Confident in producing graphics and sketch visuals
- Able to write clear, well-structured design reports both in polish and English
- Competent in AutoCAD and Microsoft software
- Ability to use Adobe software will be beneficial, however training can be given
