About the Role

Description

The Surface Finishing Specialist drives revenue by selling the company’s products and services to new and existing clients. This role covers the Dallas-Fort Worth area, focusing on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong network to generate new sales opportunities/leads. 
  • Plan and schedule meetings with prospective and existing customers.
  • Engage with clients to understand their product or service requirements and recommend suitable solutions. 
  • Present and demonstrate product features/benefits tailored to customer needs. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, relationship management, and timely resolution of post-sale issues. 
  • Maintain ongoing contact with current and past clients, providing updates on new products, services, and enhancements. 
  • Track and document sales activities—including calls, orders, wins/losses, and relationship challenges—using CRM tools. 
  • Prepare and deliver periodic sales forecasts for the assigned territory. 
  • Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR minimum of five years of relevant experience in outside sales or a similar role.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills. 
  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. 
  • Ability to prioritize and respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests. 
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver solutions. 
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and remains composed under pressure. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications. 
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including prolonged periods of driving. 
  • Comfortable with extended periods of desk work and computer use. 
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
