Surface Finishing Specialist

Description
The Surface Finishing Specialist drives revenue by selling the company’s products and services to new and existing clients. This role covers the Dallas-Fort Worth area, focusing on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong network to generate new sales opportunities/leads.
- Plan and schedule meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Engage with clients to understand their product or service requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Present and demonstrate product features/benefits tailored to customer needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, relationship management, and timely resolution of post-sale issues.
- Maintain ongoing contact with current and past clients, providing updates on new products, services, and enhancements.
- Track and document sales activities—including calls, orders, wins/losses, and relationship challenges—using CRM tools.
- Prepare and deliver periodic sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR minimum of five years of relevant experience in outside sales or a similar role.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to prioritize and respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and deliver solutions.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and remains composed under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including prolonged periods of driving.
- Comfortable with extended periods of desk work and computer use.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
