Location: Lincoln West Mall

Position Type: Full-time Exempt

Compensation: $95,160 - $119,080 (DOE)

Your expertise will be crucial to “Close the Loop” on technical challenges, ensuring high performance and proactively preventing issues before they arise. From managing firewalls and wireless networks to administering our server platforms, your meticulous eye and strategic approach will ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, analyze, and maintain the company's LAN/WAN environment.
  • Manage all network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless LAN, with a focus on performance, high availability, and security.
  • Engage in network expansion projects from the design phase through to implementation and ongoing management.
  • Administer and maintain the VMware vSphere platform.
  • Administer Windows Server environments running on the VMware platform.
  • Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring across the LAN/WAN environment.
  • Minimize break/fix incidents by taking a proactive approach to system maintenance and technology implementation.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Serve as a member of the IT leadership team.
  • Build, coordinate, and oversee project teams in collaboration with the IT leadership group.
  • Share expertise with others and contribute to a positive and successful team environment.
  • Act as the "End of the Line" for technical issues, taking responsibility for full resolution whenever possible.
  • Maintain a positive, helpful, and courteous relationship with all contacts.
  • Respond promptly to all email and voicemail correspondence.
  • Attend company-wide training sessions and department meetings.

Requirements

  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of direct network engineering experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN), including hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Proven experience administering VMware vSphere and Windows Server environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record and have reliable transportation to travel between company properties.
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds, and work in environments that may require stooping, kneeling, crouching, or working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VCP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or similar.
  • Experience leading technology projects from design to implementation.
  • Previous experience serving on or contributing to an IT leadership team.
  • Prior experience in a hospitality or vacation property environment is a plus.
  • Skills in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of network or systems tasks.
