Are you a compassionate, organized, and people-focused leader who is passionate about supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)? We are seeking a dedicated Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of assigned 24-Hour Residential homes while leading teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting person-centered services that empower individuals to thrive.
About the Role
In this leadership role, you will support Individuals in achieving meaningful goals, mentor and develop staff, maintain safe and compliant homes, and collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community partners to deliver high-quality care and support.
Leadership & Residential Operations
· Oversee the daily operations of assigned residential homes, including staffing, scheduling, household management, and program implementation.
· Foster positive relationships with Individuals, families, employees, leadership, and community partners.
· Maintain a strong and consistent presence within assigned homes to ensure quality care, safety, and compliance.
· Collaborate with leadership on program planning, strategic initiatives, and service improvements.
Person-Centered Support
· Ensure implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and support Individuals in achieving personal goals, independence, and meaningful community engagement.
· Promote quality of life through individualized supports, family involvement, recreational activities, and skill development.
· Monitor changing needs and coordinate appropriate services and supports.
Behavioral & Medical Oversight
· Coordinate admissions and participate in referral reviews to ensure appropriate placement and services.
· Support behavioral and safety needs in collaboration with Qualified Behavior Professionals and Positive Behavior Support Plans.
· Oversee medical supports including appointments, medication administration, delegated nursing tasks, care plans, and related documentation.
· Coordinate transportation for appointments, activities, and services as needed.
Staff Supervision & Development
· Recruit, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Assistant Managers.
· Ensure adequate staffing coverage, including assisting with shift coverage when necessary.
· Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to team members.
· Promote accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
· Support compliance with training requirements, timekeeping, policies, and Progressive Discipline procedures.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
· Ensure compliance with company policies, Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), licensing standards, and other regulatory requirements.
· Conduct audits, participate in licensing reviews, and support risk management and quality improvement efforts.
· Monitor documentation accuracy, medication administration practices, safety protocols, and safeguarding procedures.
· Ensure required drills, reports, and documentation are completed timely and accurately.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
· Manage household and program budgets, including staffing, food, vehicle, and operational expenses.
· Support accurate financial tracking and documentation for Individuals receiving services.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date records, including ISPs, safety plans, training records, and employee documentation.
Home & Safety Oversight
· Ensure homes, vehicles, and outdoor spaces remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.
· Identify maintenance and repair needs and coordinate timely resolution.
· Partner with Quality Assurance and leadership to maintain licensing and safety standards.
Communication & Incident Management
· Facilitate staff training and in-service education related to ISPs, medication administration, and best practices.
· Ensure monthly house meetings are completed.
· Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and General Event Reports (GERs) in collaboration with Quality Assurance and external agencies as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
· Perform additional duties, projects, or assignments as needed to support organizational operations and Individuals served.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
· Strong leadership, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professionalism and compassion.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Functional knowledge of 24-Hour Residential services and human services operations.
· Ability to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, and make informed decisions.
· Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Therap, and standard office technology.
· Ability to train, coach, monitor, and evaluate employee performance.
· Ability to perform basic math and maintain accurate documentation.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities required; 4 years preferred.
· Minimum 4 years of Human Services experience preferred.
· Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
· Therap software experience preferred.
Certifications & Requirements
· Valid driver’s license required.
· Proof of current auto insurance required.
· Reliable transportation required.
· Ability and willingness to travel locally and occasionally outside the area to support homes, attend meetings, trainings, appointments, and other program needs. Travel between residential locations is a regular part of this role.
