Texas Wood Supply began in 1979 as Valley Carpenters Inc. in Mission, TX, later becoming South Texas Moulding Inc. and moving to Donna, TX in 1984. It was the first company south of San Antonio to produce hardwood moulding, meeting the needs of the growing residential market. Expanding from 1 to 7 locations in the '90s and 2000s, including Brownsville, Mission, Corpus Christi, Laredo, Houston, and San Antonio, TWS has produced over 500 million feet of moulding. About the Role
Description
Accountabilities
- Deliver Materials to customer location with a company vehicle
- Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
- On occasion, deliver materials intrastate to other company stores as needed.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize delivery vehicles and work areas for orderliness.
- Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service.
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Forklift operation for various tasks, including maintenance.
- Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
- Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed
- Meeting delivery deadline
- Other Duties as assigned, including warehouse tasks

Qualifications:
- Education: None
- Experience: None Required
- License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License Required
- Must be 21 Years of age
Physical Demands:
- Be able to lift 30-75 lbs
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Long periods of standing at a time
