POSITION TITLE: HR Coordinator
STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position focuses on administrative support, handling day-to-day tasks, maintaining records, and coordinating the onboarding of all hourly new hires for FCH Enterprises, Inc., and its entities. This position assists with various administrative projects for the Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare detailed correspondence and coordinate the processing and/or verification of conditional offers, background checks, and onboarding and employment documentation (e.g., policies, I-9 forms, tax forms, etc.) for all newly hired hourly employees through the applicant tracking system and the HRIS system.
- Maintain new hire, rehire, and terminated hourly employees’ information and related employment records in the HRIS system, the company system of record, employee files, and storage systems.
- Assist applicants by responding to inquiries and coordinating applicant flow. Assist managers by responding to inquiries and coordinating onboarding through day zero. This includes communicating status updates to hiring stakeholders.
- Perform day-to-day tasks in alignment with department processes.
- Assist with New Hire Orientation preparedness and facilitation.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with store and department managers.
- Maintain hourly employee files and various other records and reports. Ensure that documents are filed on a current basis. Photocopy, scan and shred documents as needed.
- Assist with special projects by gathering data, performing data entry, and creating and preparing audit reports.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, and interoffice mail.
- Assists with other Human Resources related duties, reports, projects as assigned in supporting the operations of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Scheduling:
Full-time position: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Physical Ability:
- Must be able to lift 20 to 30 pounds.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Sit most of the day.
- Stand/walk up to 4 to 5 hours a day.
- Reach/bend frequently.
- Speaking and hearing are necessary for communicating with co-workers, employees, managers, and the public, and for talking on the telephone.
- Sight is required for performing computer work and paperwork.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Must pass drug screening test.
Work Environment:
This job mainly operates in a professional office environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Experience:
- Prior related experience in a Human Resources capacity or administrative position preferred.
- Being able to work in a self-directed environment.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Related Human Resources and/or administrative experience in previous roles.
- I-9 knowledge preferred
- Microsoft 365 experience preferred
- Strong typing skills, minimum 45 WPM.
- Proficient administrative, customer service and communication skills.
- Self-directed, action- and detail-oriented, and analytical (with a continued desire to learn and enhance skills).
- Passionate and committed to the role, department and organization's plans and ambitious goals.
- Collaboration Skills – Must work effectively as a member of a team and take initiative to support others as needed.
