Boise Centre, Idaho’s premier convention and event venue, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to support the behind-the-scenes operations that make extraordinary events possible. In this role, you’ll coordinate warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, load-ins and load-outs, and dock activity to ensure events are set up for success—on time, safely, and seamlessly. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, drayage, and outbound shipments for event and facility materials.
- Support and oversee warehouse, loading dock, and back-of-house operations to ensure safety, organization, and readiness.
- Coordinate load-in and load-out activity, dock traffic, material movement, and equipment use to meet event timelines.
- Prioritize, assign, and support daily warehouse tasks while ensuring cleanliness, consistency, and safety standards.
- Train and coach Boise Centre staff and temporary personnel on warehouse procedures and safe equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory, equipment, and warehouse utilization records using internal systems.
- Review Banquet Event Orders, diagrams, and schedules to plan logistics support and assign tasks.
- Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, Event Services, event planners, exhibitors, and vendors to support successful events.
- Operate and coordinate the safe use and movement of warehouse and material-handling equipment, including powered machinery.
- Assist with improving standard operating procedures and logistics best practices.
- Support facility operations with dock access control, safety checks, and issue identification.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or related logistics work.
- At least 2 years of project management experience or experience coordinating the work of others.
- Event, convention, or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Willingness to become Forklift and First Aid/CPR Certified within 6 months of hire.

- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping procedures, and material-handling equipment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and guide team members.

- Customer-service mindset with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and manage changing priorities.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software systems.

Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Occasional work at heights up to 22 feet.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, late-night, and overnight shifts as required by event schedules.
- Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise environments.
