Position Summary:
The Practice Administrator is responsible for all administrative and managerial functions of the day-to-day operations of a busy surgical practice. The Administrator will focus on providing high-quality care to our patients and physicians through organization and leadership. A successful Practice Administrator will be someone whose administrative expertise contributes to the provision of excellent healthcare services.
Key Results Areas (KRAs):
- Manage and coordinate activities of clinical and clerical employees.
- Ensure physician support and coordination for surgical, on call, and rounding services performed at multiple hospitals
- Ensure surgical scheduling and financial clearances are done efficiently and correctly
- Manage and coordinate administrative services such as expense management, safety, payroll, office equipment needs, and purchasing
- Establish uniform procedures and practices to maintain efficiency in workflows
- Serve as the subject matter expert of insurance requirements for practice and technical aptitude with EMR
- Responsible for detailing the missing charge report, charge lag, and point of service collections
- Assist the Director of Operations with provider credentialing and enrollment process
- Point of contact for daily operational issues
- Partner with Physician Leadership to drive new initiatives and services

Requirements
Education & Experience:
· 4 years of progressive work experience in Healthcare Required
· Surgical practice management or hospital surgical experience Required
· 2 - 4 years of supervisory or management experience Required
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Preferred
