About the Role

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Technician to join our dynamic team in Sepang, Malaysia. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting our organization's operational excellence and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on assigned equipment and systems, utilizing safe work practices and efficient methods
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Communicate proactively with team leaders and management regarding maintenance needs, service disruptions, and potential improvements
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in accurate technical reports
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and knowledge sharing
  • Mentor and support junior technicians in their professional development and skill enhancement
  • Maintain organized work areas and properly manage tools and equipment inventory
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, compliance standards, and organizational procedures
  • Remain flexible and responsive to changing priorities while maintaining goal-oriented focus on project completion
  • Contribute innovative ideas for process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders and customers with a customer-focused mindset

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Trade Certificate in a relevant technical field or area of expertise
  • Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in a technical trade or maintenance role
  • Proficiency in equipment operation, maintenance, and repair within your area of specialization
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues independently
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and basic report writing
  • Knowledge of safety compliance standards and regulations
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical requirements
