VP Racing in Huntingdon seeks to fill the role of Production Crew I - Utility. This role provides supplemental support for production departments as needed. Ideal candidates will have the capacity for flexibility, working on or with multiple departments as needed to meet production goals. They should also possess communication and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work efficiently with different teams and leaders as well as independently. SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM, 45-minute lunch.
- Off Friday, Saturday and Sunday
POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with machine prep/start-up daily.
- Fill in on the Production/Assembly lines as needed or directed.
- Relieve Production/Assembly employees as scheduled for lunch and break periods.
- Ensure the Production/Assembly line is fully stocked with all necessary components, parts and supplies at all times.
- Respond to machine alarms, resolve issues.
- Ensure pallets of product are shrink-wrapped and prepared for shipping, move pallets with forklift to designated holding area, if necessary.
- Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
- Wear all proper required safety equipment.
- Will be required to perform other warehouse duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to maintain safe work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- NONE
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Requires heavy lifting.
- Requires standing for 8-10 hours per day.
- Requires bending/stooping/kneeling for 4-6 hours per day.
- Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 10 - 20 lbs. from 2-4 hours per day.
- Mounting/Dismounting forklift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed in a combination of outdoor and warehouse environments.
- Exposure to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils and weather conditions.
