We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities/ Maintenance Support to perform daily maintenance across our company facilities. This role is essential to ensuring that our buildings and workspaces remain safe, functional, and supportive of overall business operations.

Requirements

  • Performs general maintenance throughout the building as directed by supervisor
  • Changes Air filters on a regular basis
  • Work in production and manufacturing when needed 
  • Changes oil on compressor and lathes at regular intervals 
  • Changing light bulbs and ballast inside and outside, Work on emergence light and exit sign
  • Maintains general appearance of interior and exterior of facility
  • Brings maintenance and safety issues or suggestions for improvements and cost savings to the attention of supervisor
  • Performs pest, weed control and mowing and trimming
  • Fix general pluming problems 
  • Builds crates for the shipping department and assists shipper in loading crates with fork truck
  • Drives the company truck as needed in and out of state
  • Responsible for snow and ice removal around doorways, storage sheds and propane tanks. Ensuring property is safe
  • Perform safety inspections
  • Performs general carpentry projects, Drywall sanding and finishing, Painting
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor


Your Contributions

  • High School diploma and 1 to 3 years of experience preferred.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion in a timely fashion
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong carpentry and painting skills
  • Light electrical and plumbing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong team player
  • Clean driving record
  • Hands on mechanical skills to perform maintenance on equipment and facilities
