Park Place is the first retirement community in Elmhurst. This elegant five-star community is conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Hospitality Aide to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents!

The primary purpose of your job position is the provision of resident services, menu selection, pass trays, serving of meals and meal services, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of the resident.
• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Pass out resident menus, collect and tally meal needs
• Serves meals that are attractive in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean equipment as used.
• Sweep floor as needed.
• Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas.
• Return clean dishware to proper storage areas for next meal.
• Keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous equipment, supplies.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining rooms as instructed.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Available to work weekends.
- On the job training provided.
