Seeking an experienced AWS Consultant to manage and optimize enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure for a federal-compliant environment. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for AWS operations, cloud security, compliance, and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and Route 53.
• Administer AWS accounts, IAM policies, MFA, billing, and cost optimization.
• Monitor system performance, security, availability, and incident response.
• Support cloud architecture, migration, disaster recovery, and modernization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards.
• Maintain security documentation, operational runbooks, and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with leadership, IT teams, vendors, and security stakeholders.

• 8+ years of AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS administration, security, and automation.
• Experience supporting federal or compliance-driven environments.
• Knowledge of IAM, zero-trust principles, cloud security, and compliance frameworks.

Required Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty
• CISSP or CISM
