About the role

The Asia Pacific Procure to Pay Operations Performance Lead (APAC P2P OPL) is accountable for overseeing and optimizing P2P operational performance across the APAC region, ensuring delivery of Haleon’s enterprise‑critical metrics such as DPO and POT within a SOX‑controlled environment. The role partners closely with the Global Process Owner to enhance tools, implement automation, reduce financial risk, improve cash flow, minimize revenue leakage, and generate business value aligned with Haleon’s ambition to achieve world‑class performance. 

The APAC P2P OPL leads regional P2P operations through effective management of internal teams and the external BPO partners (Genpact and Sunrise), ensuring strong performance governance, aligned KPIs, cost optimization, and continuous improvement. The role drives operational excellence through cross‑functional collaboration with Procurement and Local Finance, ownership of regional SLAs, and escalation management. It also coordinates regional operations forums to provide transparent performance reporting, facilitate end‑to‑end process improvements, and oversee execution, progress tracking, and results realization across diverse APAC

to stakeholders and local finance; enable discussion for process improvements with different organizations involved on O2C E2E processes and co-lead the execute of those plans, track progress, and measure the results.  

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the Asia Pacific Procure to Pay (P2P) organization, ensuring consistent operational performance management aligned with global standards and objectives. 

  • Execute global Procure to Pay strategic objectives within the APAC region, including effective integration and alignment of the BPO organization with business goals. 

  • Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and annual performance targets to measure and improve the effectiveness of APAC P2P processes. 

  • Analyze operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions across APAC markets. 

  • Chair and lead operational governance forums, providing actionable performance insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to regional leadership. 

  • Drive strong cross‑functional collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and IT to enable seamless end‑to‑end P2P operations. 

  • Lead and support cross‑functional initiatives, projects, and transformation efforts to improve efficiency and process integration. 

  • Partner with the Global Process Owner and Technology teams to identify and advance system enhancements, automation, and digital solutions for P2P. 

  • Drive operational excellence by streamlining P2P processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and promoting best‑practice sharing across APAC markets. 

  • Own financial management for APAC P2P operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource optimization. 

  • Ensure cost‑effective service delivery while maintaining required service quality and performance levels. 

  • Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls to mitigate fraud, errors, and operational risk. 

  • Foster a strong risk and compliance culture, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies across APAC P2P operations. 

  • Ensure successful execution of regional P2P projects and process changes across all APAC markets.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience. 

  • P2P/AP subject matter expertise with strong process improvement experience. 

  • SAP experience in a Procure to Pay/Finance/Operations context. 

  • Experience working in a large global organization. 

  • Experience of managing enterprise level processes and/or systems. 

  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels. 

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams. 

  • Understanding of process simplification and standardisation and proven experience in process roll-out.  

  • Good knowledge of process design, lean sigma/six sigma or equivalent

  • Fluent English communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts, influence stakeholders, and present performance insights at all levels. 

  • Hands‑on leader with strong execution focus, able to engage deeply in operational details, performance management, and problem solving while maintaining an enterprise and strategic perspective. 

  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams and reconcile cultural differences.  

  • Demonstrated process improvement skills.  

  • Ability to communicate and work with both business and operations to ensure delivery of desired process outcomes.  

  • End to end mindset and approach to process improvement. 

  • Disciplined, robust organization skills, ability to plan & manage workload.  

  • Sustaining energy and well-being, building resilience in teams. 

  • Ability to translate strategy into action with a compelling narrative, motivating others, setting objectives and delegation. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable in FMCG industry. 

  • Broad knowledge across P2P end-to-end processes. 

  • Experience of working with outsourced BPO providers. 

  • Experienced in Change management and large scale business transformation. 

  • Demonstrable experience to analyse, design and execute standard business processes and identification of efficiencies/improvements. 

  • Knowledge of role design/segregation of duties and internal control requirements. 

  • Knowledge of additional APAC regional languages (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa, Hindi or similar) is a plus.
