Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Position Overview:
Riviera Country Club is seeking polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Temporary Hostesses to support Member Dining operations during a major golf tournament week. This role will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests dining within designated member hospitality areas.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, professionalism, poise under pressure, and a warm, welcoming demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist with managing dining reservations, seating flow, and waitlists
- Escort members and guests to tables when appropriate
- Maintain awareness of dining room capacity and communicate with service staff regarding table availability
- Provide directional assistance and answer general questions regarding dining areas and event logistics
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of hostess stands and entry areas
- Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership and service teams
- Uphold club standards regarding professionalism, confidentiality, and member experience
- Assist with special event flow and high-volume hospitality operations during tournament week
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous hostess, restaurant, hospitality, country club, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work all scheduled tournament dates from June 3rd through June 7th required
- Weekend availability required
- Previously worked with us for an event is preferred

This is a temporary event-based position running: Wednesday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 7th
Shifts may vary based on tournament operations and dining needs.
Rate of Pay: $24.00 per hour
