We currently provide a wide variety of services including Behavioral Health, Community Participation, Community Supported Living, Early Childhood Education, Enabling Technology, Family Support and Workforce Development. These programs support more than 3,300 people annually in 16 East Tennessee counties.

Now Hiring: Family-Based Contractor (Adult Foster Care Support)

  • Pay: $3,000 per month, plus room and board

Are you compassionate, reliable, and enjoy building meaningful connections? We are seeking a Family-Based contractor to provide support for a wonderful individual in a home and community setting.


About the Individual:

She is warm, genuine, and full of personality. She has a great smile and isn’t afraid to speak her mind—she’s straightforward, honest, and deeply caring. She is known for her big heart, her understanding nature, and her ability to connect with others. She enjoys conversation and appreciates people who listen and engage with her.


She takes pride in her appearance and enjoys talking about fashion, jewelry, local happenings, and favorite coffee spots. She loves shopping—whether at department stores, thrift shops, or yard sales—and values time spent with friends over a good cup of coffee.


What She Enjoys:

  • Attending church weekly (Baptist faith – very important to her)
  • Watching her favorite TV programs, including cooking and talk shows
  • Socializing and engaging in conversation
  • Shopping outings and community activities
  • Flower-based crafts and creative projects

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
  • Support her in attending church and community activities
  • Assist with scheduling around her favorite TV programs
  • Help organize and participate in craft activities
  • Encourage independence while offering respectful support
  • Provide transportation as needed

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Patient, kind, and dependable individual
  • Someone who values communication and respects personal preferences
  • Comfortable supporting community outings and social activities
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Experience in caregiving or working with adults is preferred but not required


Candidates must successfully complete all required background checks, including state registry checks, and provide proof of vehicle insurance and a valid driver's license, as required by state licensing regulations, to ensure they are qualified to work in this role.
