Captain (Season 2026)
At Santa Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, every guest journey is thoughtfully curated, and every team member plays a vital role in creating unforgettable experiences. As a Captain, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned outlet, ensuring seamless coordination between service and kitchen teams while upholding the exceptional standards of the Luxury Collection brand.
In this role, you will orchestrate the flow of service with confidence and precision, inspire and guide the team, and engage with guests to create refined and memorable dining experiences. Through your leadership, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality, you will elevate every moment of service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, valued, and truly cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the service team, ensuring smooth, efficient, and elegant operations throughout each shift
- Coordinate and oversee service flow, maintaining clear and effective communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous development
- Deliver personalized, attentive, and refined guest service, consistently anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
- Ensure full compliance with brand standards, service procedures, presentation guidelines, and hygiene protocols
- Handle guest feedback, requests, and concerns with professionalism and discretion, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction
- Support outlet management with scheduling, inventory control, and overall operational organization to ensure optimal performance
- Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant environment
- Fluency in English, additional languages will be considered a strong asset
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in service standards and presentation
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques, menu composition, and wine fundamentals
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
