JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for guests of hotel casino. Set up, maintenance, cleaning, clearing and replacement of pool supplies to hotel guests while delivering exceptional guest service along with compliance of safety standards, hotel policies, and water attraction operating procedures for both the pool and water slide during regular pool season. Responsible for providing guest room attendants with materials and amenities; preparing, sorting, counting and receiving both clean and soiled linen and terry.

LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class II gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.
EXTENT OF JOB AUTHORITY: Interacts effectively with the guests and team members. Provides excellent guest service at all times, responsible for cleanliness duties associated with housekeeping.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Up to three months of related experience preferred. Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Expected to distinguish between clean and dirty surfaces and materials. Expected to, carry, push or pull equipment from place to place. Expected to carry work equipment thorough out the duration of shift. Required to lift trash receptacles, crawl under furniture, standing, walking, and bending throughout shift. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Must frequently lift and /or move up to 45 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Excellent time management, excellent attention to detail, high level of organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to exemplify energy, moves with sense of urgency while being thorough about the details of the tasks. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral or diagram form.

- Performs duties related to housekeeping in accordance to established policy and procedures as well as service standards.
- Monitors pool area to ensure guest safety and adherence to posted rules.
- Set up, organize, and maintain pool furniture, umbrellas, seating.
- Remove soiled pool towels and replace with clean towels regularly.
- Remove trash and debris from pool areas including but not limited to pool, deck, water slide, pool furniture and seating areas.
- Distribute towels and ensure proper inventory control.
- Maintains cleanliness of pool deck, water slide, and surrounding areas.
- Monitor the water slide attraction in accordance with safety protocols.
- Enforce height, weight, and safety restrictions.
- Provide clean instructions to guests before dispatch.
- Control guest flow and ensure proper spacing between riders.
- Monitor slide-landing area to ensure safe exit of guests.
- Respond quickly to unsafe behavior and emergency situations.
- Conduct routine visual inspections of the slide tower, stairs, handrails, splash zones, pool, and patio.
- Report mechanical concerns or water flow issues immediately.
- Report safety hazards, guest concerns and failure to comply with policies immediately.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a safe environment is maintained.
- Removes dirty linens and towels from rooms and hallways, sorts and counts them in assigned location.
- Receives and counts clean linen and towels, distributes them to the assigned locations.
- Properly stocks closets and public areas (public restrooms, pool area, etc.) with necessary supplies, materials and amenities.
- Ensures all equipment is used in a safe and proper manner, and maintained in accordance with established procedures.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines including the use of protective equipment.
- Uses chemicals in a proper, safe and responsible manner in accordance with standards.
- Performs duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintains proper PAR and stock levels at all times.
- Delivers to Guest Room Attendants necessary supplies on an as needed basis.
- Provides Guest Room Attendants with materials and amenities to properly clean guest rooms.
- Communicates problems, challenges or unusual matters of significance to supervisor.
- Informs supervision of needed support, supplies or repairs.
- Completes maintenance work orders to be shared with supervisors and management.
- Accurately completes assigned daily paperwork.
- Ensures all storage areas, carts, guest corridors and lobby areas are clean and organized.
- Exhibits passion for the hospitality and gaming experience of our guests.
