What You’ll Do:

 

As ship loose at AKG, responsible for identifying, preparing, packaging, and ensuring the accurate

shipment of all components that are not installed on finished products but must be delivered alongside the main

product. This role ensures that all required loose parts are complete, properly packaged, and documented to

support seamless installation and customer satisfaction.

 

· Review production orders, bills of material (BOM), and customer requirements to identify ship-loose

items

· Pick and verify components from inventory or staging areas

· Ensure accuracy of parts, quantities, and condition prior to shipment

· Package materials securely to prevent damage during transportation

· Label packages clearly with part numbers, descriptions, and destination details

· Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and records

· Coordinate with production, warehouse, quality, and shipping teams

· Ensure all ship-loose items are ready and shipped in alignment with the main product schedule

· Conduct final checks to prevent missing or incorrect items

· Follow safety, quality, and company procedures always

What We’re Looking For:

  • To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This position is Mon-Fri, 5am-1pm.

Physical Demands:

  •  Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 40–50 lbs.) 
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods 
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment 
  • Manufacturing plant or warehouse setting 
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures 
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required 

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is required; prior experience in final assembly is preferred.
