Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes but not limited to:
- Must have prior CNC Lathe experience. Experience with Tsugami Swiss type machines is preferred.
- Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
- Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of CNC machines.
- Continuously stock machines with production materials as required.
- Change tools, drills and inserts in machine as needed.
- Knowledge and skills to read blueprints required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Knowledge and skills to read micrometers (O.D. Mics, I.D. Mics, Calipers) required.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to read and interpret measuring equipment such as gages, blueprints, micrometers, calipers, depth mics, comparators and profilometers.
· Must be self-directed and take initiative to learn new skills pertaining to maintenance of the assigned machines.
· Requires a basic understanding of how to use the tools required in the operation and maintenance of the CNC machines.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
· Long periods of Standing throughout the workday are required
· Mechanically and mathematically inclined.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Use of depth micrometers, pin gages, calipers, comparator, and other basic gage methods required for verifying part quality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work well with others.
Requirements
Day Shift Hours- 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Night Shift Hours- 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday - Friday ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
