Welcome to OneEighty a safe place, a source of hope and new direction. We’re a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in and around Wayne and Holmes counties in Ohio. We provide comprehensive addiction, domestic violence, mental health and behavioral health services and operate multiple care facilities throughout our service areas.

We are seeking to hire PRN (as needed), Shelter Support Specialists to provide case management and crisis intervention for survivors of domestic violence and to oversee the general functioning of the Shelter.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associate degree in Social Services, preferred.
  • May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.  
  • If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.  
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty’s vehicle insurance.   
  • Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification.   
  • Must be trained in administering Narcan.   
  • Ability to use a computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.   
  • Ability to facilitate and maintain productive communication while maintaining a professional relationship with clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and manage crisis.
  • Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as set forth in Agency Policies and Procedures. 

Work Schedule: PRN, up to 16 hours a week, some weekend hours may be required.

Immediate Supervisor: Shelter Services Manager

Pay: 1st shift starting pay $15.00/hour. 2nd shift starting pay 15.00/hour, plus $2 shift differential. 3rd shift starting pay $15.00/hour, plus $1 shift differential. Increases dependent on education, certification, and experience.
