Your Role: The Advanced Machine Operator operates equipment that requires mechanical, technical or computer skills that must be demonstrated. Requires significant operator interaction to perform setups, monitor equipment and make decisions that require complex machine adjustments or programming modifications. Is empowered to make decisions that control the process capability needed to manufacture quality parts.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Set-up, troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and mechanical presses within the department.
  • Lift truck certification will be a requirement (will train/certify)
  • Perform visual inspection and use basic troubleshooting logic to maintain all quality standards.
  • Read and interpret drawings and technical documents.
  • Load and run machine programs and perform in-scope program changes.
  • Ability to respond to common alarms on assigned machinery.
  • Perform machine change overs for parts.
  • Monitor calibrations.
  • Perform daily asset care.
  • Comply with work scopes instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of operating precision tools and equipment to perform accurate dimensional inspections.
  • Follow standard processes to document operation/part history as required.
  • Provide input for a Process Improvement.
  • Perform basic Manufacturing Systems transactions.
  • Perform training functions as required.

  • Must be mentally and physically able to perform the job demands.

Compensation:

The salary for this role begins at $22.22 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
