AM Line Cook / Prep Cook Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated AM Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is organized, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to preparing high-quality food while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and/or lunch menu items according to recipes and standards
- Complete daily prep work including chopping, portioning, stocking, and labeling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist with inventory and restocking supplies
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Open kitchen and prepare stations for service
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs
- Food handler certification preferred

Pay
$16 to $20 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements
- 2+ years cooking experience
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling practices
- Candidates offered the position will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
- Pay rate: based on experience
- ServSafe Certification: preferred
