POSITION TITLE: Houseperson

FT/PT: Part Time
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
DUTIES/TASKS:
1. Assist the Laundry Attendant in his/her duties.
2. Removes dirty linen from Room attendants’ carts and replaces with clean line.
3. Stock all storage rooms with supplies.
4. Cleans guest rooms when assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
5. Performs other task as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager(vacuuming corridors, cleaning public areas, employee restrooms, washing windows, checking rooms, etc.)
6. Maintains security for guests and property by following all security and safety regulations (i.e. cleans work area, removes all linen from dryers, turns off dryers at the end of the day, doesn’t smoke while on duty, etc.)
EDUCATION: The ability to read, write and speak English.
EXPERIENCE: Previous hotel-related housekeeping experience.
PHYSICAL: While performing this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands to finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
