About the Role

Are you ready to set sail on an unforgettable journey? We are looking for a passionate and experienced Event Captain to lead our service staff aboard our stunning 65’ two-story cruise boat on the picturesque Gull Lake! This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to create magical experiences for our guests while working in a dynamic and picturesque setting. As the Event Captain, you will be the heartbeat of our team, ensuring that every public and private cruise, from elegant weddings to vibrant corporate outings, runs seamlessly. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients and staff, bringing joy and professionalism to every event.


**What You’ll Do:**

- Lead, supervise, and inspire our dedicated service staff during setup, service, and breakdown to make every event unforgettable. - Serve as the vital link between clients, vendors, and your team, ensuring smooth communication and spectacular service.

- Bring event timelines, floor plans, and service standards to life with precision, creativity, and flair!

- Oversee food and beverage service to uphold our high standards of quality and presentation that will impress every guest.

- Be the problem-solver! Address any challenges quickly and professionally to keep the party going.

- Share valuable insights and feedback post-event with management to continuously elevate our service.

Requirements

 

**What We’re Looking For:**

- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, catering, or event service; leadership experience is a big plus!

- Strong leadership skills, communication prowess, and a knack for problem-solving.

- The ability to stay calm and professional, even when the going gets tough.

- A keen eye for detail and a guest-focused mindset to ensure everyone has an amazing experience.

- A creative touch for décor that matches each themed cruise—your artistic flair will shine!

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to match our cruise schedule.

- Food safety and alcohol service certifications are preferred, or the willingness to obtain them.


**Compensation:**

 Starting wage $18/hour
