Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a Data Analyst to design, develop, and manage data systems that support organizational decision-making. This role is responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights through reports and visualizations. The Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw data into actionable insights using SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Develop and apply statistical methods to solve complex business and clinical challenges.
- Design and maintain data collection protocols within EMR and other systems.
- Create scripts, tools, and applications to support data analysis and reporting.
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and relationships.
- Collaborate with staff to develop dashboards and present findings to stakeholders.
- Evaluate methodologies to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and best practices.
- Develop technical documentation and reports as needed.
- Provide data guidance and support to clinical and operational teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or related role.
- Proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages (Python, R, SAS, or similar).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Healthcare data experience preferred.
